The entire bag was traditionally woven on a backstrap loom by the Weaving Women of Santo Tomas Jalieza. A tassel draw string is positioned on both ends of the bag to pull each side closer together or to expand when needed.
We have also added a gorgeous tassel accessory to 1 shoulder strap for some added colour. The tassel was handmade by the Jolom Mayaetik Weaving Cooperative in San Cristobal de las Casas, Mexico. Pop a inside and you are ready to go!
