THE STORY
Each year the faithful Flatbush residents would fill Ebbets Field on Sullivan Avenue to cheer on Dem Bums. The cathedral-esc ball field brought hope and life to the Brooklyn neighborhood as each season, with the exception of 1955, ended in a wait ‘til next year. Flatbush played an integral part in changing American society, serving as center stage to the desegregation of our national pastime on April 15, 1947 when Jackie Robinson took the field for the Dodgers. It is only fitting that we aligned the Dodger blue color way within this cap.
