THE STORY
The first collection released between HOOD and Jimmy Gorecki was a direct call out, scripted to the precise location of these skateboard spots that have shaped, impacted, and influenced the culture of skate for decades. Today, spots like Love Park, Brooklyn Banks, and Lockwood are a shell of what they were in their salad days. Meanwhile, places like Pulaski, and EMB fortunately for all of us continue to flourish seeing new generations of kids progress on these sacred blocks. We have even seen the spirit of new old spots, or plazas which the finest have come to refer to them as, take shape, as in the case with Philadelphia's Municipal building. Each of these places embodies this combination of both a team, and the arena, or stadium to which their talent is displayed thru. That's why for round 2, we have created these monograms to pay homage to these metropolitan monuments that the streets respect. Get your trick. Tip your hat to the spot.
